Tai Chi, sometimes known as shadow boxing, is an internal Chinese martial Arts practice that integrates a series of slow, gentle movements and physical postures, a meditative state of mind, and controlled breathing.

The origins of Tai Chi began as an ancient martial art in China. Over the centuries, it has become an emotional practice with a focus on health and rehabilitation, to help relieve body stiffness, promote balance, mental clarity and cultivate inner harmony.

At MME we encourage all levels of students; men, women, old, young, strong, not so strong...anyone! Whatever your skill, fitness or age, you can learn the skills and benefit from the ancient practice of Tai Chi.

Qi Gong

Qi Gong designs a tapestry for a relaxed mind and body. Pronounced 'Chi Gong', it means Cultivating of Energy.

This graceful flow of mindful movement, breath and meditation practice, is suitable for anyone who wants to improve their physical health, strengthen their psychological resilience and cultivate their internal energetic reserves.

The low impact, slow movements, are extremely suitable for sufferers of chronic pain, anxiety, depression, PTSD, cancer, diabetes, and many other debilitating aliments. A seated option is always available if you need.

To experience this beautiful session and to feel its therapeutic qualities, is a delight for the senses.

Anyone can immerse themselves in the harmony of Qi Gong.
